Good Morning World Plone Day!

Good morning from the land down under and welcome to World Plone Day 2010! It’s right on the hour (well, just after now) and 28 April 2010 — and yes, that’s World Plone Day to the uninitiated. To celebrate and to mark the occasion, I’ll be holding a bit of a discussion today about what Plone is, why it’s so useful, and what we, as users, are hanging out for in Plone 4 and above. A little time out

Taking a little time out from the professional blogging, here’s a page out of my personal side of things.

Things have been very busy as of late and, as the previous sentance suggests, not just with work. Tomorrow’s the day when my and my partner’s house settlement takes place and after all the bumps along the way, we’ve finally gotten there. The bumps were sadly some very unprofessional dealings with my fiancier credit union (who will otherwise remain nameless), an inability of lawyers and conveyancers to add numbers together, and a whole lot of confusion. My new site

Welcome to my new website and in particular, my new blog. My aim is to use this site now and slowly (but surely!) move away from the old haunts of Wikidot. It’s especially intelligent considering that I’m actually paying for webspace on a yearly basis (albeit not much money) but I figure I should be using it all the same.
